With the introduction of the Z-Lock sleeve clamping system, the Japanese premium manufacturer FYH has reinvented the clamping sleeve. This new ZK series uses a UK tapered bore insert bearing and the patented Z-Lock sleeve instead of traditional adapter sleeves and separate inserts.
The Z-Lock sleeve is simply mounted with 2 screws.
The advantages are apparent. The customer does not need any extra tools nor the torque table. By tightening the screws, an extreme holding force is created compared to conventional clamping sleeves, without changing the bearing play.
